Small Unit Tactics / Battle Drill 1 Alpha (Aztec 301)

Location: Narragansett Gun Club, Narragansett, RI
During this class we will discuss modern tactics, techniques and procedures of Small Unit Tactics utilized by special operations. As a member of a four man & eight man fire team, students will develop a fundamental understanding of the 3 phases gun fighting, (shoot, move & communicate) in live fire scenarios, utilizing a carbine.
Required Materials: . Pen, paper, note taking material, hydration source, packed lunch, eye protection, ear protection, speed loader (recommended but not required), AR-15 with mounted red dot/ holographic sight & retractable 2 point sling (VTAC, Blue Force, Ferro Concepts recommended but not required), 5 magazines, Field Load Carrier (FLC) (recommended but not required), battle belt with AR-15 magazine pouches (recommended but not required), Bump/Ballistic helmet (recommended but not required), spare batteries for optics. Please pack/wear appropriate clothing to stay comfortable as this class is outdoors.
Optional Materials: Hat, bug spray, sun block.
Ammunition: 1000 rounds of rifle (.223/5.56 recommended)
Note: Optics MUST be zeroed prior to class due to time constraints.

Advanced Carbine or equivalent class or experience.
