Not your average Armorer's class, this workshop will focus on keeping your rifle in elite working condition.
Heavy in lecture, we will review parts, assemblies and groups, focusing on does and don'ts to help you stay capable.
Approx. 5 hours of lecture/discussion and 3 hours of assembly/hands on review.
The goal of this workshop is to reduce the potential for mechanical failure to as close to zero as possible through education and inspection.
Not only will we cover parts, but we dive into coatings, buffer system selection, gas port sizing, barrel material and profiles, amongst many other component discussions.
Active participation in disassembly and assembly procedures with question and answer periods provide the type of learning environment favorable for the retention of the material.
Participants can bring all parts to assemble a rifle during the workshop, or opt to take down their pre-build rifles and re-assemble after inspecting parts.
Participants will receive an additional 10% (or more) off any parts needed during the workshop, should one of their parts fail inspection or prove faulty.
NOTE: Since participants will be handling serialized parts, a background check may be required prior to admission to the class.
Workshop will be run by Capable Citizen staff, holding two certifications in the AR15 platform with years experience working in the firearm industry.
