Advanced Pistol - Shooting on the Move
Date & Time: Sunday, August 3rd, 9am - 4pm
Location: Narragansett Gun Club, Exeter, RI
This class will develop the student's ability to shoot while moving at various distances. We will explore speed and precision while moving forward, backward and laterally. We will explore the differences of shooting while moving versus moving then shooting. Students will engage multiple targets varying in sizes and shapes while moving utilizing efficient, natural body movements. We will explore one handed shooting, reloads, malfunctions, support side engagements, use of barricades and much more.
Required Materials: Functional Semi-Automatic Handgun, KYDEX inside or outside the waistband holster, minimum of 3 magazines, eye protection, electronic ear protection. 400-500 rounds of pistol ammunition.
Please pack/wear appropriate clothing to stay comfortable as this class is outdoors.
Note: If you use a red dot on your pistol, the optic MUST be zeroed prior to class due to time constraints.
Optional Materials: Hat, bug spray, sun block, pen and pad for notes.
Ammunition: 500 rounds of pistol.

Prerequisites: Equivalent experience equal to advance pistol tactics, including an understanding of basic shooting fundamentals and safety required. THIS IS NOT A BEGINNERS CLASS.
